Laura E. Marcus was born and raised in Montréal, Canada, leaving her beloved city for a Midwestern education in 2001 (U of M, Ann Arbor; B.A. English).

In 2006, she moved to New York City, putting pen to paper at various publications including SPIN, TRACE, GOTHAM, Heeb, and VenusZine.

Fusing her background in journalism with her expertise in marketing, she's equal parts Lois Lane and Joan Holloway. She's spent over a decade creating content for companies like R/GA, Google, and AT&T.
